Content and Activities of Psychosocial Skills Training for Schizophrenia

Psychosocial Skills Training is a program which was designed for schizophrenic patients to help them cope with the illness, to increase the treatment compliance and the quality of life when added to pharmacotherapy in the treatment of schizophrenia. Communication skills, problem solving skills, psychosis and antipsychotic drug treatment, assesment and monitoring of the treatment, coping with the drug side effects, recognize the early signs and persistent symptoms and coping with them, avoiding the alcohol and street drugs, and increasing social and recreational activities are included in this program. Introducing the general knowledge about the subject, role playing, problems and solutions, exercises and homework assignments are used to get the patients have some needed skills.

Şizofrenide Psikososyal Beceri Eğitiminde İçerik ve Etkinlikler

Şizofreninin tedavisinde farmakolojik tedaviye eklenecek olan Psikososyal Beceri Eğitimi hastaların hastalıkla başa çıkmalarını kolaylaştıracak, ilaç tedavisine uyumu ve yaşam kalitesini arttıracak bir programdır. Bu programın içeriğinde iletişim becerileri, sorun çözme becerileri, antipsikotik ilaçlar, tedaviyi değerlendirmek ve izlemek, ilaç yan etkileriyle başa çıkmak, uyarıcı işaretleri ve inatçı belirtileri tanımak ve onlarla başa çıkmak, alkol ve uyuşturucudan sakınmak, sosyal ve zevk verici etkinlikleri arttırmak konulan işlenmektedir. Hastaların bu konularda beceri sahibi olmaları için genel bilgi verme, rol oynama, sorunlar ve çözümleri, alıştırmalar ve ev ödevleri etkinlikleri kullanılmaktadır.
